Visit the Anichini website

We are pleased to be featured in Katie Treggiden’s design blog Confessions of a Design Geek after she visited us at our New York Showroom at the Decoration & Design Building on Third Avenue as a part of her Blog Tour NYC trip. As she states, the D&D Building “is housed in a fabulous old New York building. It has 130 showrooms and sees 20,000 visitors from the design and architecture industry every month.”

While exploring the showrooms at the D&D she notes the “lovely colours and textures from ANICHINI– so tactile, it was impossible not to touch!” Thanks so much for stopping by Katie, we hope to see you again soon!

We are pleased to be featured in ELLE Décor’s May 2012 issue in the article “A Hollywood Classic,” showcasing the 1930′s Tudor house in Beverly Hills which the creator of Will & Grace has recently redesigned for his family – “mixing eclectic antiques, contemporary ease, and a dash of West Coast glamour.”

For the bedroom he chose ANICHINI’s Lido Linen Shams in aqua, a Rupia Silk Sham in eucalyptus blue, Lucrezia Sheeting and Duvet in eucalyptus blue, and an Amdo cashmere throw in otter.

For her design of the interior of a home in Hancock Park designer Jennifer Davis chose ANICHINI’s Stintino pillows in gray/blue and the Super Soft Quilt in platinum. Stunning and serene!

We are happy to have our Mykolas Bath Sheet featured in Elle Decor’s article “Dry Spell” showcasing their top nine picks for towels. Stating that “towels should be as soft and luxurious as they are practical… these bathing beauties have got you covered.” And they do – getting softer and suppler with every wash their durability and luxury go hand in hand.

ANICHINI has its roots in the world of antique textiles which is why the products have the true vibration of authenticity about them. Our Rare Finds Collection features just that – very rare, handmade products. Most of the craftspeople producing these items are among the last in the world. As technology rushes forward, handmade and handcrafted items become more and more unique. The items in this collection are truly collectors’ items and the “antiques of the future.” It is our mission to support these remarkable artisans and to keep these crafts alive for as long as possible.

The Rubiyat Pillow, featured here in New England Home, is one of these extraordinary works of art. The dense embroidery of this design is covered with small French knots. The richness and depth of the embroidery staggers the imagination! Made entirely of silk and embroidered by hand. Available online, at our Showrooms and LA Store, or by calling customer service.

We are pleased to have our Nobel Linen Napkins featured on Studio of Style. In their post “In the lap of luxury: ANICHINI Napkins” they say:

“…we’re always on the lookout for napkins that can change along with the mood, the food and the vibe we’re trying to capture when we want to create an outstanding dinner party.  And with all the dinner parties that go on here in Hollywood, that can be a challenge unto itself — which is why we were thrilled to discover (and now you know too!) these 24″ x 24″ “Nobel” hand-loomed herringbone linen napkins from Anichini in 22 delicious colors (15 of which are shown here).  With such a chic rainbow of stylish colors to choose from, you’ll be thinking of excuses to have dinner parties just to show them off!  They’re sturdy and their classic look and hand-made hemstitch means that they’ll always be your go-to napkins for every occasion.”

We are pleased to have our scarves featured in the Go Design Go Holiday Gift Guide. Go Design Go, the design blog for the Cohen Design Centers – DDB in New York, DCOTA in Florida, PDC in California, and DCH in Texas – put together their guide to help designers looking for the perfect holiday gifts.

And they chose our scarves for their list saying…

“with so many to choose from, you’ll have a  full afternoon choosing one for each person on your list. The Verona and Taormina scarves, made with 100 percent Merino wool, are woven in Italy and they’re as soft and cozy as they are beautiful. The designs are inspired by architectural friezes from the Renaissance and are exclusive to Anichini in multiple colors.

If you’re looking for an even more exotic pattern, the San Miguel scarf may be a perfect fit. Available in Sage, Fig or Gold color schemes, the San Miguel scarf is also woven in Italy with 100 percent Merino wool. Exclusive to Anichini, the design is based on a Moorish pattern found in the Alhambra Palace in Spain.”

Thanks Go Design Go, we think they make a great gift too! – to see our selection click here.

Following the article by Luxury Daily, we are pleased to have been featured in The Hollywood Reporter’s take on product placement in the Twilight Series’ Breaking Dawn movie – describing how luxury brands took to the big screen, saying -

“Anichini, the makers of luxury linens, showed off their expensive Italian bed sheets in the best light during the honeymoon scene. The company is now having a Facebook contest to win the honeymoon sheets.

We are pleased to have been featured in Luxury Daily‘s recount of product placement in the Twilight Series’ Breaking Dawn movie – describing how luxury brands took to the big screen.

“Luxury brands such as Manolo Blahnik, Carolina Herrera and BMW all took advantage of the big screen with product placements in the latest “Twilight” saga series, “Breaking Dawn” …brands such as Anichini linens, J Brand jeans, Volvo and a Bombardier private jet were also found in the movie…”

Anichini linens spread the reach of its product placement by sending out an email to its newsletter subscribers alerting them to the Twilight Breaking Dawn placement, since the brand’s sheets were used in the honeymoon suite.”

Luxury Daily goes on to pose the question: “while the Breaking Dawn movie had the fifth biggest opening weekend in U.S. history, the question is whether or not the movie’s core consumers are the same as luxury brand’s target consumers?”

We think everyone should have the chance to experience the most extraordinary sheets in the world!
